As a tenth-grade student at Athens College Psychico College with an interest in studying Business Management, I find great joy in collaborative work and harbor a strong passion for soccer. Among my aspirations is a journey to Armenia to explore the places my grandparents have lovingly described to me. My family cherishes an Armenian heritage on my mother's side and a Greek heritage on my father’s side.

A profound bond with my grandfather Christos, my namesake, has significantly shaped my identity. Countless hours spent listening to his stories about Armenia have brought me closer to my roots. His accounts often revolve around his parents' migration to Greece, offering vivid examples of resilience, hope, and the pursuit of a new life on unfamiliar soil. This rich family lore has deepened my connection to my Armenian heritage and instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility.

Through his narratives, I have gained insight into the sacrifices and bravery required for our ancestors to forge a path in a new world. I am motivated to continue this cultural legacy by celebrating our family's history and Armenian identity. Both cultures I belong to heavily emphasize the significance of tradition and family—values I have cherished since childhood. My Armenian grandfather particularly values celebrating Armenian holidays together, an upbringing that has inspired me to embrace these traditions and fueled my desire to explore my Armenian origins further.

With this purpose, my cousin Niki and I founded this club. Our goal is to delve into our maternal heritage and the traditions our ancestors practiced and to share this rich cultural tapestry with others.

Co-Founder

As a tenth-grade student at Athens College Psychico College, my passions extend to Formula 1 racing and being an avid enthusiast of both water and alpine skiing. Inspired by the stories of my beloved grandfather and his unwavering belief in the importance of our Armenian roots, my cousin and I co-founded this club. In a tribute to my Armenian heritage, I chose to adopt both my mother's and my father's last names. This decision not only strengthens my bond with my mother and our ancestors but also connects me more deeply with the broader Armenian community. It represents a commitment to preserving my family's narrative, ensuring that the lessons, memories, and cultural heritage passed down through generations are remembered and celebrated.

I've grown to understand that names are more than mere identifiers; they are carriers of history, culture, and identity. They encapsulate the trials, triumphs, and aspirations of our forebears. Embracing the surname Danelian, I pledge to honor my origins, celebrate the resilience and spirit of the Armenian people, and perpetuate our ancestors' legacy. My desire to delve into my Armenian roots is fervent. The mission of this club transcends a mere exploration of our past; it is a voyage towards self-discovery, ensuring that the rich history and culture of Armenia flourish through me and future generations.
