MISSION
Rooted in heritage and open to all, the Armenian Youth Project is a community of youth empowerment built on storytelling, cultural exchange, and service.
Our mission is to create a vibrant living platform that strengthens heritage while building bridges between cultrues - a space where Armenian youth can celebrate and deepen their connection to their roots, while inviting non-Armenian peers to join in meaningful cultural exchange
We believe that culture is not static, but a vibrant force that inspires unity, resilience, and service. Through cultural presentations, creative workshops, and community initiatives, we aim to empower the next generation to see heritage as both a source of pride and a call to responsibility.
Beyond raising awareness, our work turns learning into action. We raise funds for important Armenian causes, including theArmenian Blue Cross in Greece, and support initiatives such as the"Sponsor-a-Student"program, which provides college funding for orphans over the age 18.
We also contribute to local community needs and respond to church or other needs as they arise, directing donations where they are most needed, while fostering a spirit of civic responsibility that prepares us to become conscientious global citizens.
Everyone is welcome to be part of this journey of education, celebration, and impact!
WHO WE ARE
Co-Founder: Christos Beis
Co-Founder: Niki Bardis Danelian
We are two cousins, ninth-grade students at Athens College who share a deep connection to our Armenian roots and a desire to celebrate and preserve our heritage.
Inspired by the stories and values passed down from our family—especially our Armenian grandfather—we co-founded this club to explore our identity and invite others to learn, share, and celebrate Armenian culture.
This club is our way of ensuring that traditions and history of our ancestors live on.
We want to help others understand that names, culture, and stories are powerful threads that connect us to who we are and who we hope to become.
