MISSION

Our goal is to educate and familiarize our peers with the culture and heritage of Armenians, while supporting important Armenian causes. We would like to provide the opportunity for our small community of Armenians to learn more about their identity, as well as invite non-Armenian students and friends to learn about Armenia’s rich culture.

Through the events we organize and the membership fees we plan to implement, we hope to raise funds for Armenian organizations such as the Armenian Relief Society (ARS), which provides critical aid to Armenians in need, particularly in times of crisis.

Our activities will include learning traditional Armenian dances, cooking Armenian recipes, discussing current events in Armenia, and exploring the country’s history and traditions through interactive games and presentations. In addition to fostering cultural exchange and understanding, these initiatives will help us support charitable causes that make a difference in Armenian communities both locally and abroad. Everyone is welcome to join us in this mission of education, cultural celebration, and philanthropy!

Upcoming Initiatives

Between fundraisers, discussions, presentations, and more, the Armenian Youth Club will be busy connecting members with Armenia’s culture and acquainting non-Armenians with the country’s culture. Creating a vibrant and engaging program for high school students in Athens, Greece, will involve blending cultural education, community service, skill development, and fun.

Gatherings will feature Armenian foods and planning events such as the Heritage Fair and Club Fair. We will raise awareness about the Armenian genocide which impacts us greatly.

Future Goals

Our club member Staphania Polychronopoulou suggested visiting Armenia as a club to engage in community service.

Whether we prepare delicious food for heritage fairs, or set a goal to raise enough money to travel together, the Armenian Youth Club will thrive while educating students and having a great time.
